Via Airlines or ViaAir is a small airline headquartered in Maitland, Florida.

The Fleet: They have 12 aircraft and serve 18 scheduled destinations throughout the U.S. 4 Embraer 120 Brasilia’s 6 Embraer 145’s 2 Cessna Citation XLS aircraft.

Via Air was awarded an Alternate EAS certificate in four small Virginia/ West Virginia airports in late 2014. EAS stands for Essential Air Services. This program commits to serving smaller communities and airports throughout America by providing governmental incentives to Airports and Airlines to operate those routes. Beckley and Parkesburg routes generate approximately 4.8 Million dollars annually to the airlines in order to serve these cities. The four territories granted are Beckley, Parkersburg, Greenbrier/Lewisburg, and Staunton/Shenandoah.

They operate these routes generally onboard their smaller 30 seat Embraer 120 Brasilia aircraft, but are sometimes swapped for the larger -145 jets. As of April 1st, 2018, however, the service to Greenbrier and Shenandoah will cease leaving two remaining operations.
